Week 6-PowerPoint
All About Me
You have seen my PowerPoint slide that is all about me, the teacher. Now you will create a one slide PowerPoint that is all about you!
First, create a new blank PowerPoint presentation.
Second, save it as LastName.All About Me.
Third, insert pictures, text, and background color.
Many of the tasks you did in Word are similar to how you will do it in PowerPoint. Raise your hand if you need help!
Do not forget to complete your bell work daily. It is worth 5 points per day, and is due on Friday. This week is Bellwork6, and will be worth 25 points total!

- There must be at least 10 images that represent you, (you may use more). Examples are: Pictures, clip art, logos, images saved from the internet… whatever represents YOU
- The background should be your favorite color.
- Make sure to include your name on the slide.
- There may be other text, animations, transitions, and more pictures.

Cruising Around
This lesson is designed to test your new found PowerPoint skills! Research is only a small component of the lesson, so do not stress over it :) Have fun researching a place to visit (YES you can use wikipedia!) and wow me with an effective PowerPoint. *Remember what an effective PowerPoint looks like from weeks 5!*
The following are things to have in your presentation:
A title slide with your name and the place to visit
7 information slides, EACH with a transition and at least 2 animations
Each slide must have specific information about your place to visit:
It is worth 60 points total, and is due on Friday, February 14!
Have fun "cruising" around your place to visit :)

- Attractions (places to visit, such as the Statue of Liberty, or a museum, or the Grand Canyon!
- Weather and Geography
- Interesting plants and animals
- Interesting news/details about the place to visit
- Population/who runs the state or country/capital
- What is the state/country famous for?
- Why did you choose this place to visit?
It is worth 60 points total, and is due on Friday, February 14!
